Rega Ania Pro MC Cartridge
Previously found in the more costly Apheta 2 MC model, the stylus' profile is designed to extract as much detail from the record grooves as possible.
It features a super high-powered, Neodymium magnet system and a coil hand wound on to an iron micro cross. The ultra-low mass generator is undamped (no tie wire) and uses a unique rhomboid pivot for the cantilever.
The Ania Pro is housed in a highly rigid, Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS-Fortron) body, witch features Rega's three-point fixing method offering optimum connection to the head-shell while automatically setting overhang. It also has a distinctive red, CAD designed, rigid cover that protects the internal fine wires, making handling and fitting, safe and risk free.
Sitting between the Ania and Apheta 3 at £750 (~$980), the Ania Pro can be the perfect companion for the Planar 3, Planar 6 or Planar 8 turntable. Rega also offers it as a factory-fitted option for both Planar 6 and Planar 8.
